Changes at Howscales

Work on renewing all the kitchens at Howscales is nearing completion. Cream Shaker style units have been fitted to create light and traditional style ,well equipped kitchens. This photograph shows Hazelrigg’s kitchen.

Birds are feeding hard over the winter especially when the weather was so cold. Huge range of birds visit and non more colourful than the spotted woodpeckers who are regular visiters.

Just because the snow has disappeared hasn’t stopped all the birds coming into the garden to see what has been put out for them. Partridges come around both morning and evening to feed. Squirrels are not visiting here at the moment but four are at feeders in Parkhead.

A Happy New Year from a cold,snowy and very wintry but picturesque Howscales. The garden has looked stunning covered in snow and frost and has given plenty of opportunities to get the camera out.
