Formerly the milking parlour, Hazelrigg is a spacious, romantic cottage for two. Ideal for spending quality time together away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Awarded 4-star gold
Hazelrigg has a light and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The cosy lounge has a quality sofa for two and a leather armchair together with a log burning stove. So you can cuddle up and relax on chilly evenings. It’s luxuriously furnished with handmade curtains, coordinating cushions and a snuggly throw.
You’ll find everything you need in the well-equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher) and there is plenty of space for food storage. We are spoiled for choice for fresh local produce, with farm shops, butchers and bakers nearby. So if you plan to spend your evenings in after a day filled with walking and exploring the area, you can stock up and cook some tasty meals to enjoy in privacy.
The spacious bedroom has a super-comfortable king size bed, made up ready for your arrival with quality white cotton bed linen. The luxurious décor continues throughout with handmade curtains complimented by matching lampshades and coordinating cushions and throws. You’ll find fresh, soft fluffy towels in the en-suite wet room, so there’s no need to pack your own.
When the sun is shining, it pours through the windows from sunrise to sunset. So you can take in the stunning views as you enjoy your morning coffee. There is also a seating area immediately outside the cottage, so in warmer months you can spend your evenings sat outside relaxing with a gin and tonic or your tipple of choice whilst you plan your next day of adventures. Plus you’ll have shared use of the main garden where there are various seating options – handy for a spot of wildlife watching or taking in the dark night skies.
Hazelrigg has been accredited 4 Star Gold by Visit England.
You are very welcome to bring 2 dogs (based on a medium sized dog).
